It is part of the Chaîne thermale du Soleil.
The town is very lively with a famous weekly market on Tuesdays and a smaller version on Saturdays. There is lots of entertainment and the Festival d’Operette gets better every year. There are several bakers, a butcher, supermarkets, cafes and restaurants, not to forget the Spa for Relaxing. Lamalou-les-Bains is many people’s idea of a ‘perfect place’. Bédarieux, which is a short distance away, offers other local specialties and a wide range of services.
The train Bédarieux Béziers has fast connections by TGV and Eurostar to London via Paris or Lille Europe. At Beziers airport there are flights from Paris and other cities in France. Ryanair and other airlines offer low-cost international flights to Beziers, Montpellier, Nimes, Carcassonne, Perpignan and Girona (Spain), all within a maximum of 2 hours drive.
