A stunning estate located in the province of Alicante. Authentic buildings, gorgious setting.
The property has been the ownership of a noble family (name of Arab origin) for a few... centuries.
The estate gathers just a bit less than 200 hectares approximatively, with a main house/palace which consits of ground floor, plus a first and second floor. The house was last renovated in 1911 and afterwards has been generally maintained on yearly basis. The history of this estate goes as far as one can track it, roughly known since 1238. In its early stage, it was a domain owned by the Arabs during more than 250 years and from that ownership declines the unachieved existing arab tower with new inscriptions which reminds the visitor of the arab domination.
The main floor: living with wooden artwork and noble blazons, great blacksmith work on the balconies, hall, library, office, lounges, dining, 6 bedrooms and service rooms... A rounded arab tower is attached to the main building. 2 houses for services. Extra large storage/stable with old winery and other dependencies are available. Water, electricity and telephone connections. Alarm system.
Well in function, equipped with an electrical motor, which pulls 18 liters per second and leads the water to a large water deposit for garden watering. Spring of water linked to a garden disposal (from the XIX century) and from there to other deposit for the watering of the orchard.
Makes part of a hunting ground with 2 other boundering estates: Wild boars, rabbits and partridges is hunted. On the higher part of the domain, there is also a house (hunter’s house). The hunting rights are conceeded and renewed on annual basis.
