On entering the house, on the ground floor, there’s an impressive entrance hall with hardwood floor, off which are the dining room kitchen and two reception rooms.
The dining room(21m2) has double aspect large windows, overlooking the garden and a large open fire place, as the centre piece of the room. Off the dining room is the largest of the two reception rooms (14m2) and this too is a bright and spacious room, with views over the garden. The large kitchen (21m2) is fully equipped to handle cooking for at least 12 guests. It has a tiled floor and double doors leading to the garden. The second reception room (11m2) is just off the entrance hall and could serve as a very spacious office. There’s also a large cellar, which is roughly the size of the ground floor of the house.
A sweeping wooden staircase leads up to the first floor landing, where there are two ensuite double bedrooms (12m2 & 14m2 ). Both rooms have large windows overlooking the garden and have been recently re- decorated to a high standard. Both rooms have hardwood floors and the ensuite bathrooms include shower, sink, electric towel rail and wc.
The staircase continues to the second floor, where there is another bedroom (14m2 ) with ensuite bathroom and velux windows. This bedroom is currently used as a family room for BnB guests. There is also a family suite, which consists of two bedrooms ( 20m2 & 11m2) with a jack & jill bathroom (11m2) in between. On both floors of the guest accommodation, there are adjoining door to the owner’s side of the house. On the ground floor, there’s a very large room, which used to be a billiard room (32m2) . It has a woodburner and French doors leading to the garden at the rear of the property. There’s another reception room (14m2), which the current owners use as a private lounge, also with a fire place and a window overlooking the front garden. Through a hallway to the back of the property, there’s a fully equipped utility room, fit for the purpose of handling laundry for at least 12 guests.
On the first floor of this side of the house there is another large bedroom (14m2) with ensuite bathroom and further along a small corridor, there are another two bedrooms ( 13m2 & 12m2 ), which share a separate bathroom. This too has a roll top bath.
